The Minneapolis Police Honor and Color Guards are privileged to serve honor at the funerals of active and retired Minneapolis Police Officers.
We also serve honor at the funerals of fallen police officers across the state and nation.
We are an integral part of Law Enforcement Memorial Day ceremonies.
The Minneapolis Police Honor and Color Guards provide comfort to the bereaved through our solemn and respectful presence at funerals.
Our involvement helps the bereaved feel less alone in their time of need.
We encourage community and connection amongst those who are mourning the death of a loved one.
We are increasing our efforts to promote awareness of the services of the Minneapolis Police Honor and Color Guards amongst funeral directors, hospitals and hospices.
We are working to educate local media on our services and on the purpose and meaning of the ceremonies and traditions of the Minneapolis Police Honor and Color Guards.
